Dear Jesus- I am truly sorry for the many things I have done wrong in my life. I’m most sorry that I have not given you the place of honor you deserve in my life. Please forgive me right now as I pray. I wish to turn away from everything that I know causes you hurt & gets in the way of a healthy relationship with you. [now take a few moments and honestly share whatever God might bring to your conscience].

 Thank you that you died on the cross for my sins so that I could be forgiven and set free to live a new life with you. I humbly confess my desire to receive a cleansed & renewed heart.

Thank you that you offer me forgiveness and the gift of your Holy Spirit, so that I will have the power to live my life through you. By faith, I now receive the gift of your spirit. Come into my life by your Holy Spirit, to be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.
